Johannes joined the E2M team as a Graduate Ecologist. He began his career as a safari guide in northeastern South Africa, where the region’s diverse birdlife inspired him to pursue a master’s in wildlife biology at UQ, focusing on avian ecology. His research investigated the status and waterhole associations of the black-throated finch using acoustic recognition and traditional survey methods.
Bringing together his expertise in research methodology and hands-on field experience, Johannes adds unique insight and scientific rigor to E2M’s diverse projects.
