Targeted field surveys of all APA owned and operated transmission pipelines in Queensland.
To ensure APA’s operation and maintenance activities align with the requirements of the Queensland Biosecurity Act 2014, E2M conducted targeted weed assessments across APA’s transmission pipelines in Queensland.
Pre-survey planning, spatial modelling and an efficient data capture method afforded significant cost savings for our client. E2M successfully prioritised those assets with a higher risk of declared weed species and closed significant information gaps on priority weeds for management. The data have provided APA with specific information on priority weeds for management.
As a value addition, E2M also assessed weeds adjacent to the pipeline easements, providing valuable information to prioritise weed management actions.
