DTMR is responsible for the repair of damage caused to numerous road assets within the Logan City Council (LCC) and Scenic Rim Regional Council (SRRC) Local Government Areas.
Initial assessments undertaken by DTMR and BG&E, resulting from a series of Recording Asset Damage and Restoration (RADAR) entries, were evaluated against the Natural Disaster Program Design and Eligibility Guidelines (DTMR, 2020) to obtain road asset areas eligible for restoration works.
Major sites likely to interact with ecologically sensitive matters were identified and ecological assessments deemed necessary for a 20 major sites.
