Peter is a terrestrial ecologist with over 8 years of consultant experience across a range of projects in south east Queensland.
Peter has a comprehensive understanding of State and Commonwealth legislation as it pertains to ecology, having undertaken a variety of ecological assessments for clients, particularly in the natural resources sector. Projects and tasks carried out encompass Regional Ecosystem (RE) clarifications, BioCondition assessments in association with project offset strategies, targeted threatened flora and fauna surveys, Biosecurity assessments and tree removal/retention plans. Reporting responsibilities have encompassed environmental approval applications, such as clearing permits, species-specific management plans and referrals; and technical report writing for Environmental Impact Statements and development applications.
