Peter is a terrestrial ecologist with over 15 years of experience in the industry across a diverse range of projects in Queensland.
Peter has a comprehensive understanding of State and Commonwealth legislation as it pertains to ecology, having undertaken a variety of ecological assessments for clients in the natural resources and renewables sectors. Technical expertise encompasses Regional Ecosystem (RE) verification, targeted species surveys (flora and fauna), Habitat Quality assessments in association with project offset requirements/strategies, biosecurity assessments and rehabilitation/offset monitoring. Peter has a lead and worked on many large-scale projects, encompassing environmental approval applications, such as clearing permits, species-specific management plans and EPBC Act referrals; and technical report writing for Environmental Impact Statements, environmental offsets and development applications.
